This PD really got me thinking about the Inquiry cycle. It got me thinking about student ownership and use of student language when identifying certain parts of the Inquiry. Simplifying it and kids speak could be more beneficial. It also got me thinking about what Inquiry looks like in other areas of the curriculum other than PYP. The misconceptions really challenged me and overall having an inquiry, although complex, is beneficial to have, than not have. I will look at challenging students to indentify their own stage of inquiry to create more student agency and ownership of learning.
